Big game coming up on Monday against Drogheda United in Weavers Park. Bohs Supporters are banned from the Away Stand after the fiasco in Richmond Park during our game against Pats caused the FAI to take this measure.
Anyhow, it looks like the Away Stand will have some Drogheda Family supporters there for this game, as the Club are doing their utmost to try to attract extra support by offering ‘kids go free’ deals in all the local schools. The Club have issued strict ‘No Bohs Supporters’, so there is no point in anyone making the trip up from Dublin. It’s gas when you think of it. The last time we played Drogheda was in the Leinster Senior Cup. It was also on a Monday and Bohs First Team did not turn up for that game. This time, Bohs First Team supporters will not be there.

What a horrible night for a game. At least Bohs fans don’t have to worry about travelling for the game and can watch it on LOITV. It may ease off later but who knows, in this Country, the weather is so changeable. Drogheda got some good news today as they and their new owners Trivela managed to secure ownership of United Park/Weaver’s Park back from the FAI. Now, wouldn’t it be nice if Bohs manage to do the same with Dalymount Park, at some stage in the future. This development marks a pivotal moment in the club's history, signifying a new era of security and strategic advancement. 🔗 droghedaunited.ie/drogheda-united-fc-secures-ownership-of-weavers-park/

Devine’s selection against Drogheda surprised me. The real surprise was his selection of Keita at centre half, so quickly after landing in Ireland. He looked a little rusty in the warm up and it turned out that he was definitely rusty when the game started. He wasn’t ready to play a competitive game but for some reason was starting. And Flores, who Devine has labelled, ‘one of the most creative midfielders in the league’, playing at left full, what can one say.
I would have persisted with Bart at right full and put Lilander at left full but this never happened. Cian Byrne is a good player and I probably would have moved B. McManus in beside him when Cornwall got injured. Flores, by all accounts did well against Pats in a backs to the wall display. If Devine was not going to play him midfield last night, he should have left him at Centre Half or not played him at all. Brutal selection of players as usual, really poor and it showed.
